Beef Strips
This recipe for beef strips is sauteed with onion, green pepper and a mixture of flavors.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steaks or 1 1/2 lbs round steaks
- 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 Tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
- 1/8-1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper
- 1 package Chinese egg noodles
- Serves 4
Directions
- For the noodles, bring a large pot of water to a boil. When it comes to a boil, cook noodles for 2-3 minutes, drain and serve hot with beef.
- Slice beef into thin strips, works best of beef is frozen.
- Put the beef in a large mixing bowl and sprinkle with granulated sugar. If you have time you can let this marinate, otherwise, simply let it sit for a couple minutes.
- Add in all other ingredients and mix well.
- Add a small amount of oil to a high wall skillet or wok and heat to medium-high heat.
- Add in green pepper and onions and stir-fry for about 2 minutes. Add in the beef strips and continue cooking until the beef strips are browned.
- Serve hot.
