Santa Strawberries

Ingredients

• strawberries
• mini dark chocolate chips
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 Tablespoon sugar
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Directions

1. You can make as many or few as you will need.
2. Wash the strawberries and pat dry with paper towels.
3. Line your berries up in a row.
4. Slice the bottoms off the berries so they will stand without toppling over.
5. Slice the top 1/3rd off the top of the berry to make the hat.
6. Whipping Cream
7. Chill a glass or metal bowl in the freezer for 10 minutes.
8. Pour the cream and sugar into the bowl. Mix on high speed with an electric mixer until you reach the desired consistency. Add the vanilla and mix in.
9. Place into a piping bag with a star tip.
10. Pipe the head onto the strawberries. Put on hat on top.
11. Pipe the hat trimmings and button on the coat.
12. Place the mini chocolate chips in place to make the eye.
13. Place onto a serving plate and keep refrigerated until you serve.
