  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 cups clean fresh crushed raspberries
  • (Makes about 3-4 cups of jam)

Directions

  1. Wash the jars you plan to freeze the jam in. Use either half pints of pint glass canning type jars.
  2. Using a large glass mixing bowl, stir the freezer jam pectin and sugar together until well combined.
  3. Stir in the crushed raspberries until combined.
  4. Sir for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour the crushed raspberries into the freezer containers and leave 1/2 inch head space as the jam will expand when frozen.
  6. Leave the jam about 30 minutes to stand until thickened.
  7. You can keep in the refrigerator for about 3 weeks or you can freeze for up to a year.
  8. If you make lots of jams, it is a good idea to put a label with the date you made the jam.
